HISTORY

ARTAZU - NAVARRA

Since 1996 we have been growing vines and producing wines in Navarra, a land with a great history and wine-growing renown.
With its dark chalky soils that alternate between clay-limestone and clay-sand and its extreme, contrasting weather conditions, the Navarra wine region has its own distinct terroir.

GRENACHE

In the last century, the Grenache was the king grape and the most widely-planted variety in the Navarra vineyard. Struggling viticulture, worn-out vines and an all-but abandoned heritage have created for this project the perfect symbiosis between the forgotten and the much-missed. This is an emotion-provoking project in which we produce wines that are both genuine and avant-garde.
Our vineyards cover 41.90 hectares (103.5 acres) planted with Grenache in two different Navarra villages, each with great wine-growing traditions: Artazu and San Martín de Unx.
